Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC) |
The Hawaii Agriculture Research Center (HARC) offers high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) kavalactone analyses and chemotyping of kava root at a reasonable cost. Analyses and results presentation can be customized to fit your needs.
Kava roots or other plant parts should be dried and ground to a fine consistency before submitting for analysis. However, if drying and milling facilities are not available, fresh kava (kept cool during shipping) can be sent. It will be dried and processed for an additional fee. A minimum of 25 grams of dried and ground material or 50 grams of fresh material should be submitted.
HARC is committed to providing the highest quality of service and a minimum turnaround time from receiving sample to providing results. All results are treated as confidential unless requested otherwise.
