For products to go from the farm to the market to the consumer, the activities of the Hawaii Department of Agriculture's Quality Assurance Division looks after the interests of the consumer by inspecting and grading commodities in wholesale and retail establishments assisting in the marketing of quality agricultural commodities and promotion of fair trade and honest business practices.
